What Is an AGM?
An annual general meeting is a yearly gathering of interested shareholders (Liberty's members). At each AGM, the directors present an audited annual report containing information for members about the company's performance and strategy.
Why attend an AGM?
Members have the benefit of being able to vote on the issues at hand. AGMs are important as a platform to include members in decision-making, for the transparency they provide, and for keeping management accountable. (Voting can be done in person or via a proxy.)
