The Gateway to Financial Freedom is learning the importance of saving for a rainy day and building wealth from a young age.

 

With this in mind, LibertyCCU  is awarding FOUR students of Anguilla the opportunity to start their journey to financial freedom with our BACK TO SCHOOL CONTEST!

Who Can Enter?


Any student currently enrolled in an Anguillian school. Primary School (Grades 4, 5, & 6), High School (Campus B), High School (Campus A) and Sixth Form will all be judged seperately.




What are the Guidelines for Primary School Entries?


1. All work must be written by the entrant listed any work that is plagiarised will not be recorded as valid.

2. All work must be submitted through the online portal as a word document no larger than 2MB

3. All submissions must be between 300-400 words. Non-compliant works will not be recorded as valid.

4. Any submissions after the stated deadline will not be recorded as valid.

5. Works may be written in a narrative, persuasive or expository style.

6. Images may be included within the document.

7. Proper grammar and formatting is expected.

8. Creativity is encouraged!




What are the Guidelines for High School (Campus B) Entries?


1. All work must be written by the entrant listed any work that is plagiarised will not be recorded as valid.

2. All work must be submitted through the online portal as a word document no larger than 2MB

3. All submissions must be between 450-600 words. Non-compliant works will not be recorded as valid.

4. Any submissions after the stated deadline will not be recorded as valid.

5. Works may be written in a narrative, persuasive or expository style.

6. Images may be included within the document.

7. Proper grammar and formatting is expected.

8. Creativity is encouraged!




What are the Guidelines for High School (Campus A) Entries?

How Does Judging Work?


After the deadline closes all the submissions will be reviewed by a panel of judges* and disclosed to the winners in advance for the awarding ceremony.

For the High School and Sixth Form categories a first, second and third place prize will be awarded to persons from each category.

For Primary Schools there will be overall first, second and third place winners across all primary schools and for each school there will be internal prize winners.

*The panel will include primary and secondary level teachers as well as retired educators.




What are the Prizes?


Each overall winner will receive a Liberty Junior Account Valued $250 and access to all LibertyCCU promotions, services and products as a member.* And their piece will be published via the Liberty website and social media platforms, and via radio.\

The first runner ups will receive a Liberty Junior Account Valued $150 and access to all LibertyCCU promotions, services and products as a member.*

Second runner ups will receive a Liberty Junior Account Valued $100 and access to all LibertyCCU promotions, services and products as a member.*

Internal primary school winners will receive an LCCU appreciation package.

*No additional member ship fees will be necessary.
