Recently, LCCU launched the Liberty Checking to its members. This is part of the suite of services rolled out to facilitate our members with secure and convenient access for both individual and business members.  The Liberty EcoSystem includes Liberty Online Access, Liberty Mobile Access, Liberty Checking, Liberty Debit Cards, as well as Automated Teller & Point of Sale machines at participating merchants (and more services coming soon).

Debit cards are issued to Liberty members only and are exclusive to the Liberty suite allowing members to access funds safely and securely without staff intervention including at the Automated Tellers.  The Point of Sale terminals allow members to transact directly with our growing list of participating LCCU merchants that includes groceries, gift stores, hardware suppliers, small businesses and entrepreneurs.

 

Liberty’s ecosystem is facilitated by MIMICS, JAD & SugaPay.  SugaPay facilitates ecosystems for credit unions in Trinidad & Tobago, Antigua & Barbuda and JAD is an ecosystem developed and hosted by Alex Straun, former IT Manager of ECCB. JAD is currently in use in the federation of St Kitts & Nevis. Look out for the Liberty JAD wallet!
