OECS Credit Union Summit 2026

Eleven delegates travelled from Anguilla to Antigua & Barbuda to attend the 19^th OECS Credit Union Summit 2026 held Sep 22 – 27, 2026. The theme was Navigating Change: From Resilience to Results. This highly anticipated event brought together credit union professionals and stakeholders from across the region, offering a unique opportunity for networking, collaboration, and professional development.

Each day of the Summit featured pertinent information, educational anecdotes, and inspirational messages aligned with the theme. Experts from across the Caribbean and the international movement covered topics such as cross-border payments, leadership, and artificial intelligence.

As the delegates represented Anguilla, Liberty’s Founder, L. Vanessa Connor, was honoured with the Legacy Pioneer Award. The award honoured individuals across the Caribbean who had made a lasting impact on the credit union movement. Her recognition highlighted Anguilla’s ongoing commitment to innovation and service within the financial cooperative community.

As the Summit drew to a close, organisers revealed that the 2027 Summit will be held in Anguilla. The Anguilla delegation met the announcement with excitement and pride. The event will attract credit union professionals from across the region in October 2027, providing a valuable platform for knowledge exchange and further strengthening regional collaboration.
