In 2025, My First Nest Egg officially launched the "My First Business Competition" and this year, it is back again. As Liberty continues to partner with schools and non-profits to deliver fun financial education with an award-winning app, the My First Business Competition takes learning a step further. This exciting initiative is designed to inspire the next generation of innovators, makers, and leaders by giving students a platform to showcase their creativity and entrepreneurial spirit.
The competition invites young minds to turn their big ideas into a reality, offering them a chance to walk away with one of three cash prizes!
Whether a child already runs a small backyard venture or simply has a brilliant idea they talk about at the dinner table, this competition is for them. No prior business experience is required.
Children can submit ideas for a wide variety of ventures, including:
Lemonade stands
Lawn mowing or pet sitting services
Handmade crafts and art
Tutoring services
...or something completely unique!
